A spot of Christmas Shopping

In London today Christmas shopping and meeting Auntie Lesley for dinner.

Christmas Pudding!

A great big Christmas Pudding landed in our garden!

I tried to get the kids to lay in it but they were having none of it!

Snow Joke!

It doesn't normally do this here until February! Could be a long
winter living on top of a hill in 'sunny' Eastbourne!

Ikea!

I dropped Auntie Lesley to Heathrow and took a sneaky trip to Ikea on
the way home, bought lots of Christmas decorations and was home in
time to pick up the kids from school.

Crazy Hair Day

Max had crazy hair day at school so he went like this. Looks quite
normal to me!!

Demonstration!

During a most necessary shopping trip to Brighton we got caught up in
the student protests. Luckily it was all very peaceful... I did look
among the crowd for Joe as I'm quite sure he was involved but couldn't
see him. Hardly surprising when the march consisted of around 4000!

Best Boys Day Out

Max's school had an inset day today so my friend Kirsty and I took our
boys for a day out.... Without the girls!!!

Max's Room

This is Max's 'new' room. It's has a Red, Stars and Stripes, Mini car,
Union Jack, Football theme with a bit of Lego and Star Wars thrown in
for good measure.... And, yes that is Sonic on the bed post! Heaven
for a boy of nearly 8!

Christmas Begins Here

Mum, Auntie Lesley and I have been to London to a Christmas show...
Now comes the fun journey of getting through Lewes on bonfire night!!!

Halloween

All ready for two Halloween parties today!

During half term I decided to give the kids rooms mini makeovers...
This is what Izzy's room now looks like.
Dumb and blonde as ever, I forgot to take the 'before' picture but
trust me this is a vast improvement.

At Max's school for his harvest assembly... He sang beautifully in the

We have new neighbours who decided to cut it down.... This is the new

Nightclub!

I know this looks like I'm out for the night but it's actually Max's
school disco where I offered to help... There were 400 seven and eight
year olds... Needless to say it was rather lively especially as the
fizzy drinks were included in the ticket price.

At Izzy's school...The kids did a 'performance' Which was interesting!

Izzy is having a sleepover with her best and oldest friend Alice...
I'm sure that not much sleeping will be done! They have already tucked
away pizza and dough balls, are working their way through the popcorn
towards the icecream. They're in their pj's watching a movie and it's
only just 7pm.... Could be a long night!

Crazy

Izzy was really good at crazy golf... !

Paradise Park

The kids school holiday continues so we've come out to paradise park
for a few hours.

Delay

Ours is the top flight on the board! I know it looks like were flying
a little late... What it doesn't show is that the 12,50 departure time
was supposed to be on the 10th not the 11th! We actually arrived home
around 30 hours after expected!

Red Nose Day

Like mad dogs and Englishmen we took both options and therefore all
have red noses!
But we are here safely and having lots of fun.

Prom Princess!

Izzy was crowned Princess of the Prom at her school today she was
presented with flowers, a sash, a tiara AND a trophy!

3D Dreamer!

Max had been looking at a 3d book at bedtime and fell asleep with the
glasses on... I wonder if his dreams were in 3d?

Going down!

Intact this company has well and truly gone down.... Shame it's who we
have our holiday flights booked with!!!
Hopefully we can find something else....?

Free Bar

This may not seem like the most exciting bar until you know that it's
part of the office where Sam's working, serves Peroni (in authentic
glasses) and is completely free Twiglets and all!

South West

Last time I travelled South West it was airlines and I was with a
beautiful woman and my youngest nephew... Not quite the same today but
I have sneaked away to stay with Sam again!

Max's school organised an X Factor style competition. The final was
today at the Motcombe summer Fayre and guess who won!!

My friend Carlie married a plumber (highly recommend by me)
yesterday... How lovely does she look!!!!

Lunchtime Escape!

Somehow Sam and I ended up with a few hours child free so we went to
the harbour and had a really lovely Thai lunch.

Race For Life!

We did it... A couple of oldies pickled with wine came joint 15th of
1200 people!

This car is encrusted with crystals in 50 colours for the 50 states of
America it has scenes from each state and is worth over a million
pounds!

We visited a museum appropriately named! This is a 'replica' of the
tallest man who ever lived!

In the London Eye!

Not London Bridge!

Of course this is a bridge in London which is where we are for a few
days with Izzy and Max. We were very lucky to see Tower Bridge open
which only happens once in a blue moon these days... (or blue sky
today I'm very pleased to say).
