May The Force Be With You

Father Christmas brought Max this light sabre! It has lights and sound
and the whole blue bit is ejected at the touch of a button! Every boys
(mans) dream! Needless to say it's a big hit'

Christmas Pants

Happy Christmas to everyone!
I've had a few problems blogging today but all seems fine now!
Sam got these rather fetching pants for Christmas and decided to wear
them I'm not sure if this is really entertaining or if we've had too
much champagne but happy Christmas anyway x x

On Saturday night I had my work Christmas party this was the drinks table for five of us! Needless to say I got home after 4am and was not fit for much all day yesterday!

Thumbs Up!

Sadly Sam broke his thumb last weekend, by tooting the horn of his car! It wasn't completely in vain as the car didn't hit him but I'm not sure that's much consolation. The worst of it is that he's unable to play the guitar!

Sunday 29 November 2009

Ditto!

Another lonely car!

This wasn't due to work but some much more exciting late night Christmas shopping!!

Saturday 31 October 2009

Kids get a good stash

The kids have been out and come back with a few sweets! They've gone
back out to get some more!

I won!

Wednesday 28 October 2009

£143.91

I'm sure I can get a very nice pair with this!

Time to open the tin!

I've had this tin for over a year and it's finally full. Can't wait to
count the cash and even better start the all important shoe shopping!

A Slight Problem With The Drains.

We have a major problem with our drains leaving a significant hole in
both our driveway and bank balance alike!

Wednesday 21 October 2009

Just to show I was there too!

Night out with the girls...

On Saturday evening I went out with my girlie friends from the gym, we had a lovely meal and a few too many drinks it was a fun night much needed by us all as we are all working Mums juggling life. The girl in the foreground holding the galss of wine is Sally my running partner, she's 48 and the best argument for continuing the exercise regime I've ever met!

Funeral Flowers

I haven't blogged much lately as things have been tough for us over
the past week or so. Muriel's funeral was yesterday and we gave her
the very best send off we could. The family all got together here and
the sun shone brightly, there were lots of tears but also lots of
happy memories.

Saturday 3 October 2009

Max comes to work with me

Max came to work with me today and one of the guys in the warehouse (fondly named by us in the office as 'Hunky Dunky') gave Max a ride on the fork lift truck! I'm sure the Health and Safety laws don't allow this but he had great fun!

Friday 2 October 2009

A rare picture

Joe was packing to go to uni so I took the opportunity to snap all four of the kids together.
It's unusual that they're all either awake or at home at the same time and will become even less so over the next weeks and months.

Monday 28 September 2009

Told you she was doing well....

Well they can't spell either of her names but I'm sure this certificate is for Izzy.

Wednesday 23 September 2009

How cute is this boy?

You can tell the mornings are getting darker... I had to wake Max this morning and as he's normally the first one up it's rare to see him asleep so I couldn't resist a sneaky picture.

Monday 21 September 2009

Who could this be for?

I can now get pictures from my camera but sadly still not from my phone.
I think a call to Gary is in order!

Sunday 20 September 2009

No Picture!

Sadly there seems to be something wrong with the usb on my laptop which leaves me unable to upload pictures just thought I'd let you all know! I'm going to take it it to try and get it repaired and also work out how to email pictures from my phone but in the meantime we are still here... you just can't see us!!

Birthday Heels

I'm sure everyone knows that yesterday was my birthday...Sam didn't know what to buy me so we went shopping in Brighton and it would have been rude to have left these alone in the shop!

Big thanks to everyone for all my birthday messages and pressies. I had a fantastic day!

Friday 4 September 2009

Me too

Well I guess us Johnson's are slow learners, but obviously remain open minded and willing to learn new things! Good for us!

Thursday 3 September 2009

Sam's turn to don the snorkel

We honestly did have more than one snorkel!

Boozy Beach Babe Beth!

We've obviously brought her up well!!

Trip on a glass bottomed boat

We took a trip on a glass bottomed boat so the little ones could get a look at some of the deeper coral and tropical fish. By pure luck there was only the five of us booked on the trip so we had the entire boat to ourselves!
Here's a snap of Izzy on the stern!

Max on the Jetty

Head Scarves R Us!

Can you spot the tourists?

Quad Biking in the Desert

One of the things we did on holiday was go Quad biking in the desert. It was a truly amazing experience! Max sat on the front of my bike, Izzy on the back of Sams and Beth drove herself. We rode for about an hour into the desert at sunset, stopped in a valley watched the sun go down, rode further round a course (which wasn't for the feint hearted!), had tea in a bedouin camp until it was dark and then rode back to where we started. It wasn't a slow journey by any means and the kids were hanging on for dear life but none of us would have missed it for the world.

Tuesday 1 September 2009

Family Holiday

I'm sure that anyone who ever looks at our blog either knows we have been away or thinks we have dropped off the face of the Earth! I'm happy to say the former is the case and we've been having a great time in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt! Here are a few snaps from our week away, we have had a truly magical time swimming in the Red Sea, Quad biking in the desert, staying in a lovely all inclusive hotel and basking in the sun.
Lots more posts and pics to come.
We've missed everyone but have had a great time.

Fabulous Fish

This was taken with a 'point and click' camera above the surface of the water. Snorkelling was literally like swimming in a giant tropical fish tank.... Unbelievable!

Glam Girls

Beach Boys

Discussing the quality of the women and beer no doubt!

This is Sharm El Sheikh

Not many places you see a camel just sat there on the beach!

Anything you can do......

I gather that Gary has been doing a bit of snorkelling..... Haven't we all!!

Monday 17 August 2009

Lunch with Auntie Lesley

I met up with Auntie Lesley for lunch today.

Glad the waitress isn't a photographer and have no idea why I have my hand on my own bum but was good to catch up!

WOT! NOT a POT Noodle

I was horrified in Tescos today when I came across this shelf of 'Nations Noodles'!

Are Golden Wonder not aware they are World class! And they can't possibly consider changing the name of a Pot Noodle!
Still 50p 'aint bad!!

A few people on Eastbourne beach

To make up for yesterday's lack of human content in my blogging, here's a picture of what is was like on Eastbourne beach this afternoon. Just a few people attended Airbourne and had they not have charged £5 to go on the upper part of the bandstand, undoubtedly that would have been full too!
